May 6 Republican Primary

The Republican Committee for the 28th Senatorial District has notified the State Board of Elections that they will be holding a Firehouse Primary on May 6, 2023. The Culpeper County Elections Office is not involved in the administration of this Primary. For more information, please visit the Culpeper County Republican Committee website and contact the CCRC with any questions.

Orders have been called for a Primary in Culpeper County to be held June 20, 2023. This primary will be held if more than one candidate files with the appropriate party in the race found on this chart. Culpeper County is covered by the 61st and 62nd House Districts and the 28th Senate District.


 

November 8 General and Special Election (Town)

Culpeper County held a General Election on November 8, 2022, to select a U.S. Representative in the 7th District.

The Town of Culpeper also held a Special Election on November 8, 2022, to fill two (2) Town Council seats. This election was ordered by the Court to fill two vacancies for the duration of their terms which end December 31, 2023.
